MISSION

Why choose Pours & Petals?

The level of service at which catering is provided can make or break the success of an event. Pours & Petals offers a personalized planning and service experience that will exceed your expectations. We are PASSIONATE about what we do, and we are EAGER and to serve you!

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM US?

Unforgettable Offerings

When we cater an event, it is a chance to bring people together and create lifelong memories. We use local, high quality, fresh ingredients to provide the best possible food and beverage options. We love to take common or beloved food and drink items, and put our own customized twist on them to bring unique elements to your event. Examples include a flavored lemonade service, bloody mary bar, and homemade mac and cheese with your choice of toppings.

Individualized Planning

No experience we provide is transactional; from the minute you start the inquiry process, through the entire planning and execution of our services, our team is there for you. We want to get to know who YOU are, so we can provide a personalized service tailored to you. Each event proposal is customized to reflect our client’s vision and goals. You can feel confident going into your event day knowing we are there to cover the details.

Superior Service

Our professional and experienced team is committed to taking the extra step to be attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Our goal is to surpass catering expectations and deliver an exceptional service on top of our physical offerings. We make real connections with our clients as well as their event guests. You'll be sure to find us striking up a conversation with your guests during our service.

COMMITMENTS

Inclusion

The team at Pours & Petals treats everyone as an individual and with the utmost respect, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion or ability. We stand by this value and are committed to being inclusive in all aspects of our service.

Accommodating Dietary Restrictions

Our staff is trained in allergy awareness in order to reduce the use of common allergens in products when possible and eliminate cross contamination to the best of our ability. We are here to assist with any dietary needs. If you have an allergy, please let us know before sipping or digging into our offerings so we can take the proper action.

Sustainability

Pours & Petals recognizes the crucial role we play in contributing to a sustainable future. We prioritize social responsibility and environmentally friendly operations. We aim to reduce our impact on the environment while also providing the best services for our clients.

ACTIONS WE TAKE TO BE SUSTAINABLE

1.

Sourcing food & florals locally

We source many of our ingredients from local suppliers to ensure the freshest products, reduce carbon emissions from transportation and limit GMO food items. We love to support small businesses.

2.

Reducing Food Waste

We have taken steps to collect scraps from our food prep to compost. Getting an accurate headcount for events allows us to prepare a proper amount of ingredients to avoid unnecessary excess that would ultimately go to a landfill.

3.

Limiting Single Use Plastics

We recommend the use of our glassware as an option for private catering events. While it is challenging to omit single use items overall, we choose biodegradable options whenever possible.

4.

Rentals

We offer rentals of popular event decor and catering ware to our clients, reducing the purchase of items that would only be used once.

5.

Repurposing

We have tracked down and refurbished decor and furniture for use at our events. This includes our 1960 vintage camper that is now a fully functioning catering unit. We attend antique shows, search the internet and browse secondhand shops to find interesting items that can be repurposed into a new life.

Yup, the vintage beauty is from the internet.

THE CAMPER DIDN'T COME THE WAY YOU KNOW IT TODAY

The blue IS still there...but it's underneath the green wrap!

IT WAS READY TO CAMP!

Except we had other plans in mind....

The interior has a full size bed, sink, dining table, a booth, gorgeous pine walls, and an AC unit; but it all had to go.

I wish we still had that AC though.

TIME TO GUT

A vintage camper owner's worst nightmare: water damage. Little did we know, every piece of wood would have to be replaced

How could we forget when we found a hole in the frame?
And the brakes that were actually non-existent?

How about when my foot went through the damp floor?

FRAME AND FLOORING

The camper got all new interior wood framing, along with a new subfloor without water damage. Most definitely the longest portion of renovation.

The interior was rewired with a breaker box, and the exterior light wires were replaced with ones that weren't 60 years old.

The camper was equipped with plywood walls, tin tiling, a paint job, flooring, custom cabinets and a stainless steel countertop.

WALLS, FLOORING, AND CABINETS

Here we ran into our biggest roadblock; the appliances don't fit through the door. They had to go through the holes cut for the window. Now let's hope they don't have to come out...

APPLIANCES

. It was supposed to be all white, then yellow, then blue, then pink... and a last minute decision made it green. No regrets!

EXTERIOR

They don't make food truck concessions windows for campers... so it is equipped with twin custom residential ones!

...and we were finally finished

On the cold and rainy Memorial Day Weekend of 2021, the camper was finally finished! Nine months later and multiple all- nighters later, we were able to launch by our goal date.

We are still so thankful for the support Pours & Petals has received, from the very first event to today.
